Requesting Account Deletion
Kogkog users can permanently delete their account directly within the application.
Steps to Delete Your Account
1. Open the Kogkog app.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Tap the three-line menu icon (☰) in the top-right corner.
4. Select Delete Account.
5. Confirm your deletion request.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When an account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:
– User profile information
– Username
– Email address
– Profile photo
– Uploaded videos
– Comments
– Likes
– Followers and following information
– Saved content
– Other user-generated content associated with the account
Data That May Be Retained
Certain information may be retained for legal, security, fraud prevention, financial, or compliance purposes, including:
– Transaction records
– Payment records
– Gift transaction history
– Security logs
– Abuse prevention records
Retention Period
Retained records may be stored for up to 90 days after account deletion where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance purposes.
